Today in a press release, EGDF and partners announced European Games BizDev Gathering. It’s a special online pitching and business meeting event to support European game developers during these tough times. The two days event will be digital, of course. It will focus on the European-based game developers and aims to get them opportunities for their projects from investors and publishers.
EDGF, RCP, and Reboot are supporting European Games Bizdev Gathering
The European Games Developer Federation, Remote Control Production and Reboot are supporting the online event. EDGF as an association representing more than 25.000 game developers from more than 2000 studios around Europe. As we mentioned, this event aims to help European game developers getting as many business opportunities as possible at the time when they need it the most. Hendrik Lesser, President of EGDF said the following:
EGDF is doing important work for our industry for more than a decade. Most of the time it happens in the maze of Brussels while seeming quite abstract. In this moment of immense challenges, we gladly step forward and do something tangible for the games industry in Europe. Let´s get some deals done and make sure no one gets left behind.
During this digital event, developers will get the chance to put their games in front of many publishers and investors from all over the world. After the cancellation of many important events like Game Developers Conference (GDC), many developers couldn’t get the fund or the publishing deal they hoped for.
