Electronic Arts is getting ready to acquire Playdemic, the developer of the popular title Golf Clash, for $1.4 billion dollars. This acquisition will be Electronic Arts’ fourth major acquisition.

Electronic Arts, which has made a name for itself in the game industry with the sports games it has developed, has now started to invest in the mobile platform. Considering the growing popularity of mobile games, the company’s latest investment in this area was the acquisition of Playdemic, the developer of the Golf Clash game, which has a large audience on the mobile side.
