Sony announced the official launch and pricing details for the PlayStation VR2

The new VR headset will also have a Horizon Call of the Mountain bundle.

The PlayStation VR2’s price and launch date has been announced by Sony. PS VR2 will be available on February 22, 2023 for $549.99 / €599.99 / £529.99 / ¥74,980 and will include PS VR2 headset, two controllers, and headphones.

The new VR headset will also have a Horizon Call of the Mountain bundle for $599.99. The charging station will be sold separately. Pre-orders will begin on November 15 and players may begin to register for pre-orders starting today.

Brand, Hardware, and Peripherals Vice President Isabelle Tomatis said, “We’ve created the PS VR2 headset with comfort in mind, in a slightly slimmer and lighter design compared to our previous headset. We’ve also included an integrated vent for extra airflow, and a lens adjustment dial for a more customized feel. We hope players will enjoy this new design.”

PlayStation VR2 Sense Technology includes key features such as headset feedback, eye tracking, 3D audio, adaptive triggers, and haptic feedback from the PS VR2 Sense controllers. Additionally, with enhanced headset-based controller tracking and high-fidelity visuals will have 4000 x 2040 HDR video format (2000 x 2040 per eye).

PlayStation also announced 11 new PS VR2 games that will come in 2023 in addition to Resident Evil, The Walking Dead, Star Wars, and Horizon.
