Google Nest Hub, the platform where the game will be released is a touch-screen system that allows people to control other devices inside their home, watch Netflix, and even adjust the light and temperature. According to estimates by Loup Ventures, there are 68 million active Google Nests and Nest Hub worldwide.

We can say that the Dailt Word Wheel is part of Zynga’s attempt to reach more users. Seeing that the demand for games increased this year due to the pandemic, Zynga became one of the companies that managed to evaluate this process quite efficiently. With various acquisitions made during the year, it ensured that its annual revenue exceeded $2 billion. Now, the company wants to maintain its growth and be part of people’s daily routine by publishing a game to a platform that we use for purposes such as controlling the lights.

“As gaming continues to evolve, franchises are becoming more universal and less dependent on any specific platform, opening up new opportunities and technologies that expand the reach of our games,” said Bernard Kim, President of Publishing at Zynga. “We’re thrilled to partner with Google on Daily Word Wheel, which proves that a fun game experience can transcend any single platform.

Daily Word Wheel will be available soon for free on Google Nest Hub Max or other Google Assistant-connected devices. With the game players are given a five-letter word bank from which to create as many combinations as possible. To enter words, players can say or spell the words using voice commands on their Google Nest devices or use the touch screen to make word attempts. They can also use voice commands to ask for hints, shuffle the letter bank or receive instructions.
