Over 50,000 people have died due to a massive earthquake that destroyed numerous cities in Türkiye and Syria. Millions of people have been homeless without food or warm clothing. The Turkish Philanthropy Fund has partnered with various charities in the affected regions to assist those in need.
To raise funds for this cause, Play For Türkiye set out to create an earthquake relief mega bundle. Creators have pledged over 200 games, asset packs, tabletop RPGs, and books. Some charities involved in this effort include Doctors Without Borders, UNICEF, White Helmets, and Ahbap. Doctors Without Borders provides essential healthcare to the injured and displaced, UNICEF ensures a brighter future for every affected child, White Helmets is rebuilding communities from the ground up, and Ahbap provides shelter, food, and medical supplies to those in need.
The minimum purchase price for this bundle is set low, but the organizers strongly encourage people to pay more if they can. It’s a chance for the gaming community to unite and make a difference in the lives of those affected by this tragedy.
