Newly established studio Harmony Games<\/strong> has successfully raised $3 million<\/strong> in its seed funding round, with plans to introduce innovation to the game industry through its debut puzzle game, Tiles Delight. The seed round was led by venture capital firm Griffin Gaming Partners<\/strong>, with additional investments from Kristian Segerstrale<\/strong> and Akin Babayigit<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Harmony Games aims to carve a unique space in the competitive mobile puzzle genre by incorporating artificial intelligence (AI)<\/strong> to construct landscapes, 3D environments, and characters with distinct attributes. The funding will be utilized to bring to life Tiles Delight and lay the foundation for The World of Tiles universe, where characters and narratives from Tiles Delight will extend into at least two future games.<\/p>\n\n

The founding team of Harmony Games comprises CEO Volkan Ediz<\/strong>, CXO James Koh<\/strong>, and CTO Joseph Kubiak<\/strong>, who bring their expertise from notable companies like Super Evil Megacorp, Wildlife Studios, and Kubaik, respectively.<\/p>\n\n

Volkan Ediz<\/strong>, CEO of Harmony Games, emphasized the studio’s commitment to an AI-first culture in the game industry. “We believe gaming is ushering in a new era, marked by a wave of companies embracing an AI-first culture. The funding round for Harmony Games follows recent investment activities in the game industry, with Studio Sai securing $7 million<\/strong> and Forge, backed by Riot, raising $11 million<\/strong> for their respective projects.<\/p>\n\n
