Mertol Altınay is the Founder and Game Producer at Balas Games, an independent game studio based in Istanbul. Founded in 2021, the studio focuses on PC simulation titles. Their debut project, Recycling Center Simulator, reached over 130,000 sales and marked the studio’s transition from mobile to more complex simulation experiences.
Before entering the games industry, Mertol worked in product development and business strategy at Anadolu Isuzu for over 17 years. Today, he leads Balas Games with a focus on long-term design and accessible global publishing.
