Harmony Games tohum yatırım turunda 3 milyon dolar kazandı

Yeni kurulan stüdyo, elde edilen fonları AI destekli bulmaca oyunu Tiles Delight’ı geliştirmek için kullanmayı planlıyor.

Newly established studio Harmony Games has successfully raised $3 million in its seed funding round, with plans to introduce innovation to the game industry through its debut puzzle game, Tiles Delight. The seed round was led by venture capital firm Griffin Gaming Partners, with additional investments from Kristian Segerstrale and Akin Babayigit.

Harmony Games aims to carve a unique space in the competitive mobile puzzle genre by incorporating artificial intelligence (AI) to construct landscapes, 3D environments, and characters with distinct attributes. The funding will be utilized to bring to life Tiles Delight and lay the foundation for The World of Tiles universe, where characters and narratives from Tiles Delight will extend into at least two future games.

The founding team of Harmony Games comprises CEO Volkan Ediz, CXO James Koh, and CTO Joseph Kubiak, who bring their expertise from notable companies like Super Evil Megacorp, Wildlife Studios, and Kubaik, respectively.

Volkan Ediz, CEO of Harmony Games, emphasized the studio’s commitment to an AI-first culture in the game industry. “We believe gaming is ushering in a new era, marked by a wave of companies embracing an AI-first culture. We’re proud to be at the forefront, crafting tools, processes, and assets in a harmonious AI-human collaboration.”

James Koh, CXO at Harmony Games, shared the studio’s long-term vision, stating:

“With the support of Griffin Gaming Partners, we aim to craft experiences where players find solace, delight, and genuine social connections. We are also envisioning experiences that extend beyond the game with ethical and positive marketing while fostering passionate communities.”

Phil Sanderson, Co-founder and Managing Director of Griffin Gaming Partners expressed confidence in Harmony Games’ vision, stating, “Harmony Games is poised to reshape the future of the mobile puzzle game industry, and we are excited to be a part of this transformative journey, unlocking new dimensions of entertainment and connection for gamers worldwide.”

The funding round for Harmony Games follows recent investment activities in the game industry, with Studio Sai securing $7 million and Forge, backed by Riot, raising $11 million for their respective projects.
