“Prof. Dr. Veysi İşler is a pioneer in Turkey’s gaming and simulation ecosystem, with a career spanning computer graphics, AI, and game technologies. He founded METU’s Game Technologies graduate program, led the METU–TSK Modeling and Simulation Research Center, and represented Turkey at NATO’s Modeling and Simulation Group. His earlier initiatives include establishing TÜBİTAK Bilten’s Computer Graphics and Virtual Reality Group, launching the country’s first internet-based education program, and building the Simulation and Visual Systems Department at Meteksan Bilişim.

A co-founder of Simsoft and several technopark companies, Dr. İşler has consistently bridged academia and industry. In 2021, he launched The Game Circle, an incubation and acceleration center supporting the growth of the gaming sector.”
