The producer of the Outerverse stated that the news about NFT is not true.

NFT scammers target the Outerverse game developed by Tbjbu2 and published by Freedom Games. Publisher Freedom Games reported that the blockchain project using the name of the Outerverse game has nothing to do with the actual game.

Freedom Games has stated the use of the Outerverse’s name. According to the statement, the news of the Outerverse NFT, especially circulating on social media, is not true. A group of scammers may be targeting the game.

Bryan Herren, Marketing Director of Freedom Games, said:

“An NFT scam pretending to be publisher Freedom Games and developer Tbjbu2’s crafting survival game Outerverse, but with blockchain technology and token integration, has been fraudulently marketing itself to the game and NFT communities.

This is patently false. There is absolutely no NFT integration in the real Outerverse or with any other titles from Freedom Games.”

There is also a site called Outerverse that uses the official drawings of the original game. The site says a playable version of the Outerverse is “coming soon” and is promoting a gaming token. Freedom Games states that these claims are unfounded and that there is no NFT integration for the original Outerverse game.

The original Outerverse game was released on Steam and Epic Games in the past months. Freedom Games states that they contacted this false website and wanted to return from this error. On the other hand, there are other complaints about the people who made this scam, and it is not known what the outcome will be about the Outerverse.
