Animoca Brands, a well-known giant in the blockchain space, has recently launched its subsidiary Animoca Brands KK in Japan. As a strategic subsidiary, the team has raised over 1.1 million yen ($10 million). The funding round was led by VC funds such as MCP Asset Management and the MCP IPX One Fund founded by Animoca Brands.
Animoca Brands KK will support the global expansion of Japanese content, including anime, games, art, sports, and more

Our Japanese division will focus on partnering with IP owners in Japan to enable them to offer new Web3 products and services in the open metaverse.”
Animoca Brands Japan will work with global businesses and operations to move and support Japanese IP holders globally.
