Ukrainian studio Burny Games has officially expanded into publishing, marking a new chapter for the company as it looks to grow its portfolio and accelerate experimentation across game projects.
The shift into publishing is aimed at enabling faster testing of new formats, broader creative exploration, and deeper expertise within the team.
“Big game studios produce hundreds of prototypes, working conveyor-style. We take a different route – cherry-picking only what we truly believe in. That means more focus and engagement in every project.”
Anatolii Henis, CEO of Burny Games

Alongside the expansion announcement, the company revealed its first publishing partnership with Portuguese studio Infinity Games. The collaboration centers on Colorwood Associations, a word-puzzle title where players uncover hidden connections between words and images by grouping them into logical sets of four.
The game has already demonstrated strong early performance, reaching 500,000 downloads in its first month.
Burny Games describes this collaboration as the starting point of its publishing journey, aiming to “change” the landscape where few Ukrainian studios develop and publish their own games.
