Los Angeles-based studio Muus Collective raised $5 million in a seed round led by Griffin Gaming Partners. The company also announced a partnership with celebrity Paris Hilton as an advisor. Geetanjali Dhillon, Sabrina Kay, Mich Mathews-Spradlin, and Felicia Day also joined the Board of Advisors.

Muus was founded in 2021 by Sarah Fuchs who has more than 20 years of experience in gaming space. She has worked at Activision, Maxis, Electronic Arts and Covet Fashion, the leading mobile fashion gaming platform.
In addition to Muus’ focus on digital fashion innovation with web3 enablement, Muus hopes to advance diversity in gaming, web3 and fashion through building a team that is inclusive, collaborative and empowering.
Griffin Gaming Partners previously announced that 30% of its venture capital funds would be committed to startup game companies that women run. The VC firm amassed $837.6 million, which will be used to invest in game industry startups.
