The Logitech G Gaming handheld console leaked yesterday with three images showing off the device. It looks similar to a Nintendo Switch and looks to be a competitor to both the Switch and the Steam Deck consoles.

Logitech announced a collaboration with Tencent at the beginning of August to create a handheld console for cloud gaming. The image leaks came in fairly quickly; it hasn’t even been a month since the official announcement.
The image from the front side shows a couple of apps within the device. Nvidia GeForce Now, Xbox Cloud Gaming, Steam, Google Chrome, and YouTube can all be seen clearly. These are not surprising for a handheld cloud gaming device; the twist is that it also supports the Google Play Store, which means it might be an Android console. Whether the console will support all apps at the store or not is unknown at the moment.
The controls look standard, with four buttons for actions, a four-way directional control, and two thumbsticks. There are two buttons on the topside as well, along with a yellow Logitech button and a white button with a Home icon.
The device reportedly contains 4 GB of RAM with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor. This chip is generally used in mobile phones for gaming. A 1920×1080 and 320DPI display will support the console.
Many gamers commented that the pricing would be the essential point of the device’s success, as it’s only a cloud gaming console. Steam Deck, however, also supports native gaming with 16 GB of RAM and comes with a starting price of $399. The price of the Logitech G Gaming console has not been officially announced yet.
The leak came from Evan Blass on Twitter and was quickly removed by Logitech, further solidifying the possibility that these images are the real deal.
