Pixion Games has announced that it will work with Avalanche.

Announcing the esports-focused blockchain game Fableborne recently, Pixion Games decided to work with Avalanche. Approaching blockchain games with an idealistic perspective, the Pixion team brought up the play-to-own system with flexibility, scalability, and security principles for blockchain games.

The company decided that the most suitable blockchain for these principles was Avalanche. A recent announcement stated that “Avalanche will be used for a perfect play-to-own game.” Making plans for future uses of Avalanche and its subnets, the company aims to create a “safe and customizable” space for players.

Fableborne’s team, which has been in development for more than 18 months, consists of seniors from renowned companies such as Konami, Blizzard, Riot, King, Sony, Wargaming, Pixonic, Ubisoft, and NCSOFT. The strategy-action RPG genre wants to take a fresh look at blockchain games and create a Web3 esports space accessible to everyone.

Games that promise financial gain to players have to take advantage of the blockchain. At this point, Ava Labs, the team behind the Avalanche chain, will support the Pixion team on issues such as distribution strategy, co-marketing, and ecosystem promotion. This situation also points to a different kind of partnership between Pixion and Avalanche.

Pixion Games CEO Kam Punia says:

“Avalanche is not only great because of the breakthrough technology they offer, they’ve been supporting us in a human-level partnership as well. We’re delighted to announce our collaboration with Avalanche to build the future of Fableborne with.”

More details on Fableborne, which uses the “Lunchtime Esports” system, are expected soon.
