Zynga has recently announced its Q4 2021 and fiscal year revenues. According to the official report, the company has grown year-over-year. Likewise, the company, which showed growth in the fourth quarter of 2021, was recently acquired by Take-Two.

Zynga showed a 13% increase in the fourth quarter of 2021 compared to last year’s same period. The company’s fourth-quarter revenues reached $695 million. Likewise, the company’s bookings increased by 4% to $727 million. Online user spending increased 7% to $534 million.

The company’s average daily active users (DAU) reached 37 million, up 3% year on year, and the average mobile monthly active users (MAU) was 184 million, up 38% year-on-year. Bookings per DAU (ABPU) decreased by 1% compared to the previous year and was recorded as $0.204.

The company’s costs fell from 41% of all revenues in the same period last year to 37% this year. These stats mean that Zynga has made more net profit this year. Likewise, the company’s cash flow improved, generating $158 million in operating cash flow in the process.

Zynga’s 2021 revenues reached $2.8 billion, a 42% increase over the previous year. Again, the company’s bookings increased by 24% to $2.82 billion. This year’s net income is the highest the company has ever achieved.

Online game revenues rose 35% to $2.24 billion, breaking a record. Advertising and other revenues reached $551 million, up 79% year-on-year, and advertising & other bookings saw $561 million, up 83% year-on-year.

Annually, the number of DAUs increased by 41%, reaching 39 million. The number of MAUs rose 107% year on year to 184 million, reaching an all-time high. ABPU fell 12% year-on-year to $0.194.

The company’s costs this year were about $1 billion. The ratio of this cost to company income is 36%. Last year’s cost ratio was 41%. This year, the cost ratio has dropped, and the company’s net profit has increased. Zynga generated $254 million in operating cash flow for the year and closed the year with approximately $1.2 billion in cash and investments.
