GameByte, which aims to accelerate mobile game studios’ development and growth processes, announced that it has raised $1 million from Webrazzi GSYF in a pre-seed round at a $10 million valuation. Positioned as an AI-powered game creation platform, the startup turns game ideas into playable experiences within minutes based on text-based descriptions.
Founded by Can Erdoğan (Co-Founder & CEO), Oğuz Sandıkçı, and Fırat Gürsu, GameByte began operating in January 2025. Continuing its journey with three co-founders, the startup plans to use the investment to fuel global growth.
“This is just the beginning. We’re scaling GameByte as a platform that makes game creation as easy as writing a prompt—and accessible to everyone. We’ll use this investment to expand our system and open GameByte up to anyone around the world who wants to make games.”
Can Erdoğan, CEO of GameByte
GameByte enables mobile game studios and independent developers to produce studio-quality playable games and playable ad experiences by describing both new game ideas and ad concepts for their existing titles using text alone. By eliminating the need to write code, the platform significantly speeds up prototyping, testing, and measurement processes.
The platform isn’t limited to generating a basic game prototype; it automatically creates end-to-end everything required for the playable experience, including in-game objects, animations, visual assets, interactions, and the full playable flow.
Thanks to this approach, game studios and independent developers can save significant time and costs compared to traditional development processes.
In the long term, GameByte aims to position itself as a platform where publish-ready games can be produced simply by writing a prompt, and to scale this production model globally by expanding support for more game genres and platforms.
The platform is built to learn as it produces games; by analyzing which designs and experiences deliver better results, it begins generating higher-quality and more consistent outputs over time. With this approach, production quality and output consistency continuously improve.
In addition, GameByte aims to enable studios to manage live ops processes through the platform in the future. Post-launch content—such as event scenarios, new level or quest content, and seasonal content—is planned to be produced at scale through the same production engine.
