Supercell has released a teaser for their new title, tentatively called “Boat Game,” and is currently inviting players to participate in its alpha testing phase.
The game’s reveal trailer showcases various features, including character customization, loadouts, skill trees, sailing mechanics, island exploration, and multiplayer on-foot third-person shooting elements.
Boat Game on multiple platforms?
Notably, the alpha sign-up form indicates that the game may be available on multiple platforms, including mobile devices, portable gaming consoles like the Steam Deck and Nintendo Switch, as well as PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S and PC.
The QR code at the end of the reveal trailer takes players into the alpha form:
Hi there! Thank you for your interest in the Boat Game!
Currently, we can only share this game with a limited number of players this time and we would like to bring it to a diverse group of players. So please answer a few questions so that we can know you better. If we unfortunately couldn’t see you in the game this time, we hope to catch up with you again soon!
Supercell is known for its rigorous testing process, often shelving games that do not meet high standards. However, Ilkka Paananen’s latest blog entry makes you think that after years of holding back, Supercell wants to launch more games and more often.

The reveal of Boat Game comes shortly after Supercell confirmed a record $3 billion in revenue during 2024, achieved as each of its live games saw year-over-year sales growth for the first time since 2014.
The company, which launched Squad Busters last year, is also developing Project R.I.S.E., an RPG rogue-lite inspired by the shelved Clash Heroes.
