The most current feature coming to GeForce NOW is focused on touch-enabled games for the service. This allows players to play some of the titles on a mobile device, without a controller. For now, NVIDIA will start with one additional no-controller title. This of course is a small step that will lead to more touch-enabled games.
GeForce NOW already had touch controls for a while but not all games sport them. This move marks their first to expand their touch-enabled library.
NVIDIA will be adding more touch-enabled games to their library throughout this year. There is no official statement from the company about when, which, or how many of the games will be touch-enabled but we expect the announcements when the release times are approaching for each title.
The company says they are currently working to get more controller-free games onto their service.
Yesterday’s announcement was bringing Fortnite back to mobile devices with GeForce NOW since the game wasn’t in the Play Store. This is quite an addition for iOS device users.
Fortnite is available on GeForce NOW as a limited-time closed beta. To try the beta for yourself, you can sign up here.
Four more games will join the roster this week
NVIDIA is also adding Anacrusis, Galactic Civilizations 3, Six Inches Under, and Ready Or Not to their touch-enabled library. Superland Six Inches Under is made available today and Galactic Civilizations 3 will be in the library until January 20. So, mind the deadline if you want to try the latter.
