As we bid farewell to 2025 and welcome the new year’s opportunities, we at Mobidictum want to reflect on the achievements, milestones, and memories that made this year so special for our community and us.

Mobidictum Conference 2025: Istanbul hits different

The Mobidictum Conference 2025, held on October 21-22 at the Lütfi Kırdar International Congress Center in Istanbul, was our most successful and magical event to date!

Global Participation: With more than 1,200 attendees from over 65 countries, this year’s edition proved once again that Turkiye is a vital meeting point for the global games industry.

Networking on a new scale: The numbers say it all: 1,650 meetings took place this year, a new record that highlights how valuable Mobidictum has become for deal-making and professional networking.

Engaging Side Events: Mobidictum Conference 2025 was full of moments that strengthened our community. The Warm-Up Party and the Happy Hour set the tone, the Turkish Coffee Hour added a uniquely local flavor, and the Deal Connector helped participants form partnerships that will shape the industry’s future.

Diverse Speaker Lineup: Across three stages, more than 100 speakers delivered 47 sessions spanning every corner of the gaming world, from mobile and apps to PC, console, and AI-driven innovation.

Sponsors, partners, and endless collaboration: This year’s event would not have been possible without the support of 72 sponsors, including leading companies such as LEUS, Snapchat, UDO Games, devtodev, Sensor Tower, Devotion Interactive, BIGO Ads, Wacom, Upstrive, Gamelight, and Oredata

Apps and indies take the stage: This year marked the first time app companies joined the conference in force, expanding the event’s scope beyond games and reflecting the growing crossover between gaming and app ecosystems.

Meanwhile, the Indie Area shone brighter than ever. With support from partners like Epic Games, independent developers showcased their creativity to publishers, investors, and peers from around the world.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all speakers, sponsors, and attendees who contributed to this event’s success. Your participation reinforces our mission to connect the global gaming ecosystem.

Mobidictum events around the world: from Turkiye to the global stage

Before we went global, we doubled down on what matters most: showing up for the local ecosystem!

Izmir: 150+ people, one room, countless connections

Izmir: After 2023, we returned to Izmir for another packed meetup, hosted at Atanova Ventures’ office with the support of Room Games, Skyloft, PlayableX, Boombit, and Coreloop Partners.

With 150+ attendees, the night delivered exactly what Mobidictum events are about: meaningful conversations, new connections, and a community that keeps getting stronger, with kokoreç and baklava as the surprise highlights!

Ankara: real connections, the Mobidictum way

Designed as an exclusive gathering for gaming industry leaders and professionals, Ankara brought together founders, publishers, investors, and game developers from Turkiye and beyond to share ideas, explore collaborations, and spend an evening with peers who genuinely inspire.

This edition was proudly organized by Mobidictum, with special thanks to our generous host UDO Games.

Barcelona: GamesForum week, closed-door conversations, and new partnerships in motion

During GamesForum week in Barcelona, we hosted an exclusive Mobidictum Mixer in collaboration with Ansvery and Balancy, creating a relaxed space for gaming professionals to connect beyond the usual conference pace.

The gathering welcomed 50+ industry leaders, with attendees representing companies including Voodoo, Bandai Namco, Scopely, Funplus, Sandsoft, Social Point, Tilting Point, IOI, and GameBCN, alongside investors such as Laton VC and Play Ventures.

Held the evening before GamesForum, the mixer focused on the conversations that matter most — from growth and LiveOps strategies for 2025 (shared by Julia Iljuk of Balancy), to player support and community operations (with Irina Sagieva of Ansvery), as well as real-world discussion around AI use across development, UA, monetization, and art.

Helsinki: Mobidictum’s first step into Finland

For the first time ever, Mobidictum came to Helsinki, and it was long overdue.

With special thanks to Milla Pennanen for the support, and to Game Makers of Finland for the hospitality, we welcomed 40+ industry professionals into a cozy setting that felt uniquely Finnish — complete with a sauna that kept the conversations going.

The room brought together a fantastic mix of companies and organizations, including Rovio, Metaplay, Remedy, Ubisoft, Kokoon Games, FXFX Studios, Sandsoft, IGDA, HypeHype, Order of Meta, Psyon Games, Burny Games, Playnest Games, The GDWC, Superplus Games, All Hats, Diw Games, and Sisu Ventures.

Tallinn: Back after 2023, and the local talent showed up in force

Just like Izmir, we returned to Tallinn after 2023, and it was more than worth the wait.

After some time away, the Mobidictum Mixer Tallinn was a blast, not just because the energy was high, but because it reminded everyone in the room of something easy to overlook: Tallinn is packed with game talent. More than a few guests walked in without realizing how many brilliant people in games live and work in the city — and left with a very different perspective.

Most importantly, it was another clear sign that the Mobidictum community keeps growing wherever we go.

Huge thanks to Vlad Rannik and CM Games for hosting us, and to everyone who joined from teams including CM Games, CD Projekt Red, Kwalee, Hot Yeti Studio, Longstage, FXFX Studio, Karak Games, Neocortex, Mortalis Games, and Echorbit Audio.

Cologne: Gamescom week, global energy, and a clear reminder of why Mobidictum matters

In Cologne, we brought the community together with our Mobidictum Gamescom Cologne Mixer — a night built for the kind of networking that doesn’t happen in expo hall rush or between back-to-back meetings.

It was all about getting the right people in the same place, giving conversations space to breathe, and letting new connections turn into real follow-ups, the Mobidictum way.

Lisbon: Web Summit week, a curated room, and conversations that went deeper

During Web Summit in Lisbon, we brought together a focused group of industry leaders.

Founders, publishers, investors, studios, and innovators shared meaningful conversations in an intimate setting — the kind where ideas turn into follow-ups.

A special thank you to Unicorn Factory Lisboa for hosting us, and to everyone who joined and added value to the evening.

Our first Lisbon mixer in 2023 welcomed over 100 participants. Returning this year with a smaller, curated group proved something important: collaboration gets stronger when the room is intentional.

Mobidictum Media: the headlines that traveled furthest

If 2025 proved anything on the media side, it’s that Mobidictum performs best when we mix timely industry moves with clear takeaways, from marketing plays and product launches to M&A and founder stories.

        Top-performing news stories

        • A Supercell launch with a twist: mo.co went live on iOS and Android, but with invite-only access, turning onboarding into part of the product story (and the conversation).

        • Upcoming mobile games also became a clear audience favorite: These roundups consistently performed well because they’re practical: they help readers spot the next titles worth tracking!

        • Web games as a real business path: Our Emolingo Games feature dug into how HTML5 web games—paired with distribution via Poki—can become a sustainable studio model, not just a side experiment.

        Investment news, all year long

Investment remained one of Mobidictum’s strongest magnets in 2025—because funding rounds, acquisitions, and strategic stakes don’t just move money; they reshape roadmaps, hiring, and market priorities.

Our coverage kept pace globally, while also tracking the deals and momentum coming out of Turkiye’s ecosystem.

The articles that became reference points

Some of our best-performing long-form pieces in 2025 had a clear pattern: data-led lists, local context, and high-signal analysis that readers could actually use.

        • Biggest Turkish game companies by headcount (2025) became a go-to snapshot of the ecosystem—built from LinkedIn baselines and cross-checks against third-party databases, then turned into a ranking people could reference at a glance.

        • And importantly, guest posts helped us publish perspectives you don’t always see in Western coveragelike our Saudi Arabia deep-dive, written by Omar H. Téllez and framed through a broader lens of sports, media, and fandom strategy.

Interviews: stories straight from the people building the industry

In 2025, our interviews performed best when they combined real operator detail with strong human insight—the kind of conversations readers can learn from, not just skim.

          • Color Block Jam, told by the teams behind it: Gybe Games and Rollic, broke down how Color Block Jam went from concept to breakout hit, including early prototyping, design decisions, and what “hybrid-casual success” looks like when it’s built with intent.

          • Warren Spector on mental health and creative longevity: In one of our most meaningful interviews of the year, Spector reflected on mental health, creativity, and psychological safety in game development—at a moment when he’s also joining Take This to help push the industry toward healthier cultures.

          • Find the Cat and the power of simplicity: Our interview with Mustafa Dağlı (Vento Games) and Burak Kar (Agave Games) explored how a simple hidden-object core can scale, with Find the Cat surpassing 10 million downloads in its first quarter and becoming a story tied to $18 million in funding.

What to expect from Mobidictum in 2026

2026 is already taking shape, and it will be bigger than ever.

            Confirmed for 2026:

            • Izmir Games & App Summit | April 10, 2026

            • Mobidictum Mixer – Cologne | August 26, 2026

            • Mobidictum Conference 2026 | October 7–8, 2026

From Turkiye to Europe’s key gathering points, the mission stays the same: bring the right people into the same room, spark real conversations, and help partnerships form naturally.

Alongside our 2026 event calendar, we’re also sharpening our media focus, doubling down on the coverage that has made Mobidictum a daily destination for industry professionals.

On the media side in 2026, we will:

            • Focus even more on what happens in Turkiye’s games industry — funding, new studios, key hires, publishers, and the stories that deserve global visibility.

            • Keep doing what we do best: investment news, exclusive interviews, and high-signal articles that help the ecosystem stay informed and connected.

Whether it’s a mixer, a summit, or a headline, 2026 is about the same thing: creating the connections and visibility that move the industry forward.
