Turkish mobile game studio Grand Games has achieved a remarkable milestone by securing a position among the top five grossing mobile game publishers in Turkiye, according to AppMagic data for 2025. This rapid ascent, occurring within just a year of its founding, highlights the studio’s exceptional momentum and innovative approach to mobile game development.
Founded in early 2024 by industry veterans Bekir Batuhan Çelebi, Mustafa Fırtına, and Mehmet Çalım, Grand Games was established with a vision to build genre-defining casual mobile experiences. The founding team previously collaborated at Good Job Games and brought their shared expertise to their new venture. Soon after its inception, Grand Games raised $3 million in seed funding led by Earlybird, with participation from Laton Ventures. This early investment enabled the studio to begin assembling its core team and develop its first titles with speed and focus.
Grand Games operates with a flexible, cell-based organizational structure. Their breakout title, Magic Sort, a mystical object-sorting puzzle game, played a key role in their success. The game invites players to organize colorful magical items, such as potions, crystals, and enchanted scrolls, into matching groups across a series of increasingly challenging levels. With its visually rich environments, satisfying gameplay mechanics, and calming audio design, Magic Sort quickly resonated with casual players looking for both relaxation and stimulation.
