Mobile game studio SuperGears has announced the successful completion of a $2.1 million seed funding round to accelerate its growth. The round was joined by institutional investors as well as existing backers.

The round was led by Hedef Portföy, one of Turkiye’s leading portfolio management companies, with participation from APY Ventures, one of Turkiye’s most active early-stage VC firms, and South Korea-based global gaming giant KRAFTON.

Existing investors, including The TMRW Foundation, ACK Ventures, Yıldız Tekno GSYO, İbrahim Akman, and Emre Yıldız, also joined the round with follow-on investments.

Hedef Portföy participated in this round through its dedicated fund SuperGears GSYF, established in collaboration with Basehub to support SuperGears’ long-term growth. The fact that the fund takes its name from SuperGears reflects strong confidence in the company’s vision and growth potential.

“At SuperGears, our vision goes beyond creating a single game; we’re building our own racing universe. This investment is a strong reflection of the trust placed in that vision. With the continued support of our distinguished investors, we are determined to take Racing Kingdom to the next level on the world stage.”

The gaming industry has become one of the fastest-evolving and highest-value-creating verticals globally. SuperGears is not simply following this transformation; they are helping shape it.

The global scaling potential of Racing Kingdom excites us, and we are proud to be part of this journey. We would also like to extend our thanks to the Basehub team for their valuable contributions throughout both the investment and comprehensive due diligence phases.”

This marks SuperGears’ second funding round, following its $1.5 million pre-seed investment completed in 2023.

Founded in 2022, the company is building a mobile racing universe under the Racing Kingdom brand. The universe aims to bring together all major racing genres, powered by next-generation graphics and realistic sound design, offering a premium mobile racing experience.

The first title in the universe, Racing Kingdom: King of Drag, was globally launched on June 20, 2025, for iOS and Android.

Featuring officially licensed vehicles from world-renowned brands such as Audi, BMW, Chevrolet, Ford, Lotus, Volkswagen, Renault, and Jaguar, the game combines an immersive single-player story with competitive multiplayer modes. It has already reached 1.6 million players worldwide and was globally featured on both the Apple App Store and Samsung Galaxy Store. The game also won the “Best Mobile Game” and “Best Racing Game” awards at Kristal Piksel 2025, Turkiye’s most prestigious game awards.
