Room Games has released the cinematic trailer for its upcoming title, Recharge. The trailer offers a glimpse into the game’s hyper-realistic graphics and dynamic RC racing environments, setting the stage for its anticipated Early Access release in the second quarter of 2025.
In the lead-up to the trailer’s release, ‘Recharge’ has garnered significant attention across social media platforms. Over the past month, the game achieved more than 5 million impressions on TikTok and Reddit, accumulated nearly 15,000 wishlists on Steam, and welcomed approximately 800 new members to its Discord community in just the last two weeks.
Recharge gameplay details
Recharge is a modern RC racing game inspired by the timeless classic Re-Volt. Developed by Room Games, the game utilizes the latest advancements in Unreal Engine technology to deliver hyperrealistic visuals and advanced physics, bridging the gap between arcade fun and simulation precision.
In Recharge, players can race through diverse tracks—ranging from professional circuits to casual layouts—across multiple game modes, including Drift Mode, Open World Mode, and Combat Racing Mode. The game also offers extensive vehicle customization options, allowing players to tailor their RC cars both visually and mechanically.
Recharge supports single-player gameplay as well as competitive multiplayer for up to 12 players, with cross-platform compatibility planned for the full release. The game is designed to provide an intuitive experience, supporting both traditional controllers and RC controllers for enhanced realism.
