Gurijala and Mantena want to take Indian games to a global audience and enhance the country’s presence in the worldwide PC and console market.
“India has some of the most talented game developers, yet our presence in the global PC and console market has been limited.”
Raviteja Mantena, Co-Founder 1312 Interactive.

Gurijala added that they would provide Indian studios with the necessary support to create world-class titles.

The company is also exploring opportunities with game developers in Southeast Asia, the MENA region and South America.
Akshat Rathee from Goodgame Investments stated that 1312 Interactive represents a bold and necessary step to establish Indian game publishing on the global stage.
Rajat Ojha from Gametronics said the global gaming industry had to deal with rising development costs and increased competition. He noted that legacy publishers are bogged down by inflated budgets and outdated monetisation strategies that alienate players, underscoring the need for disruption in the market.
