Funverse Games receives a $6M valuation investment

The investment saw participation from a lot of interested parties, such as Yıldız Tekno GSYO.

Mid-core PC, mobile and console game developer, Funverse Games, received a stock-based investment with a valuation of 6 million dollars. The investment saw participation from Weplay Ventures, Alfin VC, Yıldız Tekno GSYO, Mediterra Capital partner Orhan Ayanlar, Astaş Holding Business Development Executive Burak Aşçı and several other undisclosed investors.

Having completed its investment targets by 80%, Funverse Games continues negotiations for the remaining part. The investment will be used for the development and marketing efforts for the games and technologies developed by the company.

“We are very happy to announce one of the first investments of 2023. This year, we have shown and continue to show how well Turkish game companies are doing to very important investors worldwide. Blockchain and gaming industries are of great importance to Türkiye. At Funverse, we carry out R&D activities during the production and development of our technologies. We will be launching our products on February with more news from Funverse in 2023.”

Funverse Games was ranked third in the list of Best Startups in Turkey compiled by LinkedIn in 2022. The firm is currently developing a new game titled Hit and Boom, which combines MOBA and Battle Royale genres with blockchain integration. The title started closed alpha tests last year, and is now preparing for open beta tests.
