Games for Change Türkiye Festival, a pioneering international event at the intersection of games, design, and social impact, returns for its second edition on December 6–7, 2025, at Bahçeşehir University, Istanbul.
This year’s theme, “Gaming the City, Modding the Future,” invites participants to reimagine cities not just as physical spaces but as playable systems—made up of visible structures and invisible dynamics, collective memories, and shared futures. The festival will explore how games can reshape the way we imagine, design, and experience urban life.
The 2025 program will feature keynote talks, panels, and an arcade showcasing innovative games from around the world.
While the central theme is “Gaming the City, Modding the Future,” the festival welcomes a wide range of proposals where games intersect with society — including mental health, education, environmental action, civic engagement, and cultural heritage.
Submissions are now open for both speakers and arcade exhibitors. The deadline is September 30, 2025.
