Player spending on Imposter-themed mobile games saw a 26-fold year-over-year increase in the US. According to Sensor Tower Store Intelligence data, the fastest growing game in this category in terms of revenue was Among Us, released by InnerSloth.

The theme’s revenue was largely driven by Among Us, which accounted for 94.3 percent of player spending, followed by Wildlife Studios’ Suspects: Mystery Mansion. The second fastest-growing theme in terms of revenue during this period was “Fashion / Aesthetics / Hair”, with actor spending increasing by approximately 441% year on year to $169.5 million. The third theme in the ranking was “Animal-Insect”, whose revenue increased by approximately 439 percent year on year to $5.8 million.

The #1 theme for players to spend in the first half of 2021 was “Money / Treasure”, which includes games like Coin Master from Moon Active and Bingo Blitz from Playtika. The ranking was followed by “Empire Building” number 2 and “Tabletop” number 3.
