The Play-and-Earn mobile games studio VIKER has announced the completion of an investment round. The company stated that its total revenue from investments has now reached $4.1 million. Animoca Brands, Initial Capital, and IVC were among the contributors, as Chris Lee and Ben Holmes acted as super angel investors.

VIKER’s titles have already surpassed the 50 million download milestone. The studio mainly focuses on trivia, puzzle, and card games and has games such as Solitaire, Missing Letters, Wordy, Millionaire Daily Win, Wheel of Trivia, Amazeballs, Sudoku, Wheel of Crypto, and Balls King.

Executive Chairman and Co-Founder of Animoca Brands, Yat Siu, shared thoughts and feelings about VIKER and the new investment:

“VIKER is making Play-and-Earn mobile games genuinely consumer friendly, which improves adoption and will help to transform the market. We are proud to lead this investment and support VIKER’s vision to help onboard the next one billion casual mobile gamers to the blockchain.”

VIKER’s Founder Ben Cusack also made some comments:

“We have successfully developed and published 10 Play-and-Earn mobile games, all available on the App Store and Google Play, including Solitaire, Sudoku, and Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. VIKER’s portfolio has already seen over 80 million transactions across 100 countries, enabling players to earn Bitcoin by playing classic mobile games.”

VIKER Co-Founder Dan Beasley added:

“This latest investment signals the next phase in VIKER’s global rollout plans, which includes funding new Play-and-Earn technology, acquiring new licensing opportunities, growing the player base, and investing in new studio talent.”

VIKER’s base of operations is in London, as the company focuses on rewarding players with cryptocurrency depending on the amount of time played. The studio stated that its casual-focused titles require no fee, and no complex registration process is needed before starting to earn rewards.

The mobile games studio looks to add further to its space by adding the V-COIN currency, along with an interoperable NFT series in its game portfolio in 2022.
