Looking for a game development event that feels more like a gathering of friends than a corporate showcase?

The MonteGames Conference is happening October 25-26, 2024, in the stunning setting of Porto Montenegro, and the best part? It’s completely free.

With over 600 game developers, investors, and service providers expected to attend, MonteGames is a casual yet serious opportunity to connect with people who share your passion for gamedev.

Whether you’re there to share ideas, show off your latest project, or just enjoy the relaxed atmosphere by the sea, this event has something for everyone. Plus, with Montenegro’s game development industry hitting €20 million in revenue last year, it’s the perfect time to be part of this growing scene.

MonteGames and Montenegro’s game dev future

The Founder of MonteGames, Milos Scepanovic, is currently the Head of Growth for Yodo1 Games, a company that simplifies mobile game growth. Milos has 10+ year in the gaming industry as an Recruiter, and has a keen interest in Artificial Intelligence and Automation in remote operations.

“I was tired of being alone in game development for way too long in Montenegro. So, I decided to create something where people can connect and network for free, so others don’t have to feel that same loneliness.”

At MonteGames, attendees will get to hear from both local and international companies like Yodo1 Games, Unity, Xsolla, Belka Games, and many more. It’s a chance to casually meet industry leaders, share stories, and see how Montenegro is evolving as a hidden gem in the game dev world.

Hosted by the MonteGames Association, a nonprofit working to build up Montenegro’s game development community, the event is fully backed by the Innovation Fund of Montenegro. It’s free, but registration is required—interested parties can grab their tickets from the official event website and get ready for two days of learning, networking, and soaking up the beauty of the Adriatic coast.
