Aptoide, the original independent app distribution ecosystem, has announced that its Catappult distribution service, designed to help developers reach multiple global stores, is now rebranded as Aptoide Connect.
Through Aptoide Connect, developers can use a single build and just one SDK integration to distribute their game across 10+ stores with 200M+ users, including Aptoide’s own Android and iOS stores as well as partner stores such as ONE Store and Xiaomi’s Mi Store.
“Aptoide Connect is a critical part of our distribution ecosystem for game and app developers. With minimal effort, they can bring their games to hundreds of millions of new users not just in Aptoide’s stores, but partner platforms with significant audiences.
By bringing Aptoide Connect under the consistent Aptoide brand, we’re providing greater clarity for developers and emphasising that Aptoide is a complete ecosystem for their distribution needs.”
Paulo Trezentos, CEO and Co-Founder of Aptoide
This strategic move aligns with Aptoide’s mission to offer a comprehensive and cohesive ecosystem for app distribution and monetization. By consolidating services under the Aptoide brand, the company aims to enhance clarity and efficiency for developers seeking to expand their reach in the competitive app market.
Aptoide Connect’s simple and efficient use
Aptoide Connect’s streamlined integration process is designed to be simple and efficient, requiring minimal coding effort from developers while reaching a vast number of users across multiple app stores.
Additionally, by integrating apps with Aptoide’s In-App Purchases SDK, developers can enjoy a payout rate of up to 90% on in-app purchases, along with increased visibility through priority placement in search results and featured listings.
The rebranding also reflects Aptoide‘s response to evolving regulations in the digital marketplace. With initiatives like the European Union’s Digital Markets Act aiming to reduce the dominance of major app stores, Aptoide Connect positions itself as a viable alternative for developers seeking diverse distribution channels.
