Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade, the first open-world Assassin’s Creed built for iOS and Android, has started its first closed beta. The closed beta will have a limited number (5000) of Android and iOS players in North America and Western Europe.

The closed beta will be available between August 3rd- 11th. For Android users, it requires Snapdragon 865 or above, running Android 10 or above. iOS users will need iPhone 11 or above. The Closed Beta will feature English text and voiceover.

The game is set between Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and Assassin’s Creed Origins and takes place in the first multiethnic feudal state in China. Andrei Chan, Executive Producer at Level Infinite, previously said, “Our goal is to provide an authentic Assassin’s Creed experience on mobile, and we are very proud of what we have already. Fans can expect all the iconic features – assassinations, air assassinations, stealth, parkour, combat mechanics – and we’re keeping it narrative-driven.”

Players who missed the chance to participate in the closed beta can register for future testing phases on Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade’s website.
