The USA spends the most on Brawl Stars
A new title has been added to the title from Supercell to pass the $1 billion lifetime revenue. Thanks to its performance last year, Brawl Stars has exceeded $1 billion in lifetime revenue.
Brawl Stars had a very strong performance, generating $526 million in revenue in 2020. As a matter of fact, the game, which ranked second after Clash of Clans, which earned $681 million, collected the majority of its lifetime income in 2020. Besides, the title was Supercell’s fastest growing game with a 27.5 percent increase Y/Y.
Some of this growth can be attributed to the game’s launch in China in June. The game generated $17.5 million in its first week in China. Thus, the game generated $89.4 million in June – up 90 percent compared to the previous month.
China’s spent on the game has exceeded $100 million so far, accounting for 10 percent of lifetime revenue. Yet, China have not provided the largest share of the total revenue. The USA was the largest market for Brawl Stars with $143.5 million spent. Meanwhile, South Korea took second place with $138.5 million.
Brawl Stars is the fourth title from Supercell to pass the $1 billion, following Clash of Clans, Clash Royale and Hay Day. Moreover, the title has a total of 265 million downloads.
The vast majority of downloads come from Russia with 30 million. Brazil and Turkey rank No.2 and No.3 with 24.3 million and 19 million downloads.
