Coinbase released a statement in their blog about partnering with Mastercard for NFTs.
The company lately announced its new peer-to-peer marketplace Coinbase NFT. Coinbase said their partnership with Mastercard will enhance the customer experience on Coinbase NFT. Simplifying the user experience was the company’s priority. They hope to allow more users to join their NFT community.
“That’s why we’re working with Mastercard to classify NFTs as ‘digital goods’, allowing a broader group of consumers to purchase NFTs. And, coming soon, we’ll “unlock” a new way to pay using Mastercard cards. We applaud Mastercard’s leadership on this issue to make it as easy as possible to buy an NFT and make sure it’s the best consumer experience.”
