GFK Entertainment, The well-known German market research company, announced the best-selling games in the UK for the week ending on July 15th. No new releases in the Top 10, but some new titles have been released in previous years that made it.
Even though Tesco, one of the UK’s biggest supermarket chains, has announced that it will no longer sell boxed games, boxed games are still doing good in retailers. Games like God of War Ragnarok and FIFA 23 are still being sold with PlayStation 5 bundles, which affects the sales of those games.
Nintendo fans mostly prefer physical copies to digital ones, and we can see that each week. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe are in the top of the charts since their releases.
With the start of the football pre-season, FIFA 23 is clinging to the top this week too. The last official FIFA game has been on top of the lists several times since it was released. The game will be renamed to EA Sports FC, and EA has just released the game’s cover art during the week.
