FunPlus, the leading mobile game developer and publisher behind free games, has recently announced its plans for projects such as State of Survival, King of Avalon, and Guns of Glory. The company has taken action to expand its publishing office in Barcelona, Spain, and to bring in new talent. These growth goals aim to further strengthen the company’s presence in Europe, in addition to the work of its global headquarters in Switzerland.
Located in the center of the city, the FunPlus Barcelona office opened in late 2019 and has been gradually expanding its team and scope over the past two years. The office will continue to leverage the talented pool of tech and gaming professionals located in the Barcelona region to double its already 15-strong team by the end of 2021. The launched talent hunt covers areas such as growth marketing, community management and creative services.
The mentioned team is led by Enric Cabestany, managing director of the Barcelona office. Enric is an experienced technology and digital media leader with over 15 years of management and publishing experience. Joining FunPlus in September 2019 to manage all western market operations, Enric is also responsible for establishing the publishing organization for the FunPlus group in Barcelona.

State of Survival, the free-to-play strategy game available on iOS and Android in 2021, excitedly celebrated its success exceeding 100 million downloads in its first two years. King of Avalon celebrated its fourth and Guns of Glory fifth anniversary with great milestones.
