June’s Journey is an adventure, detective mystery game that takes place in the 1920s, where players control June Parker who wants to unwrap a shady family secret. The Berlin-based company specializes in mobile puzzle games and has other popular titles across adventure and puzzle genres.

Nai Chang, Managing Director at Wooga said the gaming entity is one of the pioneers of story-driven casual mobile games on the market and added that the last four years saw Wooga become an industry leader in this genre, with June’s Journey being particularly helpful. Chang also commented;

“We have a strong foundation in story-driven casual games, with casual games that push the boundaries of the story-driven category – crafting compelling player fantasies where the player is the star and their actions drive the narrative forward.”

The German video game producer grew its headcount by 62 in 2022, and currently has over 300 people working across several divisions and games.

Wooga also stands out as an eco-friendly video game company, promoting environmentally friendly and climate-active messages throughout its games. The company also planted over 200,000 trees via contributions of June’s Journey players in Green Game Jam 2022. It also switched to a climate-neutral work-style back in 2020.
