Glossbird, a Minnesota-based women-led indie game studio, announced the release of Fitment: Get Fit With Me!, the PC edition of its mobile fitness game. Fitment is a cozy game designed to bring easy stretch breaks and exercises, just a few minutes long, into a gamer’s day, inspired by titles such as Animal Crossing and Pokémon Go.
The PC edition of Fitment is specially tailored for Twitch Streamers. It includes a number of features that allow streamers to engage their viewers and make their streams more interactive. For example, streamers can enable their viewers to remind them to take healthy exercise and stretch breaks during their stream. Viewers can send streamers encouragement through channel points, and viewers that send Bits can even affect gameplay.
“As a game studio that streams its game development process, it was important that we listened to our community of fellow streamers. We heard you, and we’re excited to bring Fitment to PC,” said Alina Matson, CEO at Glossbird.
Fitment: Get Fit With Me! was developed in collaboration with Twitch and has several features powered by Twitch’s most recently announced API for Unity.
