Poland-based Insert Stonks has announced the completion of a pre-seed round with PLN 2.5 million ($500,000) in investments. FunFair Ventures, a UK-based venture capital firm that supports and invests in early-stage projects using blockchain technology, led the funding round.

The company is working on a game monetization infrastructure based on Web3. There are currently two different platforms: is_engine for game developers and is_games for gamers. Insert Stonks stated that game developers could quickly and transparently monetize games using the personalized tools provided on the platform without the need for additional coding.

The platform offers gamers the opportunity to make money while playing the games they enjoy. By doing so, Insert Stonks shared that it actively promotes the idea of playing for fun while earning money rather than just playing for earnings.

Przemyslaw Wierzbicki, Co-Founder and CEO of Insert Stonks, made comments about the company’s direction:

“Insert Stonks is growing steadily, and we hope to be one of the leading platforms offering game monetization by the end of 2023. We want to have interesting and engaging games on our platform, as the idea of play and earn is very important to us.”

“Currently, we are working hard to add more games and expand the player community, which will greatly accelerate and strengthen the process of developing our infrastructure. We’re also preparing for another round of financing, which will make our growth even more dynamic.”

The company noted that the platform’s infrastructure is compatible with most games with quick integration. Within an hour, a game can be integrated into the infrastructure that players can access. All parties are able to access the platform, whether they are small independent developers or large AAA studios.

Insert Stonks stated that the platform currently holds eight games, as globally popular online FPS Counter-Strike: Global Offensive will also be included in December. The company looks to build upon its success by carrying the platform to 100,000 players, 100 available games, and ten high-profile sponsors by the end of 2023.
