Keywords acquires PR agency Fortyseven Communications

The company looks to expand its marketing, communications and player insights offerings further.

Keywords Studios has announced the acquisition of Fortyseven Communications (47), expanding its “Engage” line of services that help game companies with marketing, creative, and player services. The acquisition aims to increase Keywords’ commitment to communications and player insights.

The company stated that 47 will be a critical part of Keywords’ Engage Service Line, with its great client relationships, industry network, and strategic location. US-based 47 Communications currently has 55 staff members and 17 years of experience in the game industry, along with adjacent industries such as tech, entertainment, consumer electronics, and more.

Bertrand Bodson, CEO of Keywords Studios, commented:

According to the press release, the PR agency will join Engage’s growing roster of leading firms like Indigo Pearl and LabCom on the PR side and agencies such as Gnet, Maverick Media, and Waste Creative on the marketing and creative services side.
