Krafton and Solana announce partnership for blockchain and NFT games

The new partnership covers blockchain and NFT games as well as Web3 investments.

Krafton, the owner of PUBG, one of the most revenue-generating games in the world, announced that it has formed a partnership with blockchain technologies Solana. The aim of the partnership was explained as to create a “long-term cooperative relationship” for blockchain and NFT games. At the same time, companies will evaluate investment opportunities for Web3 and act together.

The partnership news came just after announcing that Krafton would enter the Web3 game industry. Krafton recently announced that it had invested $6.6 million in NFT avatars.

Hyungchul Park from Krafton said:

Solana Labs Head of Games Business Development Johnny Lee added:

“Krafton is an established innovator in the games industry and we are excited to be part of their next level up. We are seeing gamers increasingly seek out on-chain games and gaming companies who respond quickly to this demand will set themselves up well for ongoing success.”
