Kwalee, publisher studio with 750 million downloads across its hyper-casual games portfolio, acquires Tictales for future narrative-driven games. This acquisition marks the first-ever of the 10-year-old company.
In the last seven years, fourteen games have been developed and published by Tictales. The acquired company has a strong portfolio, with more than 6 million downloads and 350 million hours of gameplay. They are mostly known for their titles such as Perfume of Love, Fictions, and Swiit Crush – Interactive Stories.
Kwalee doubled its size last year with its global expansion. With Tictales, the company is spread across 18 countries.
