Logitech appoints Charles Boynton as CFO

Nate Olmstead to step down as CFO after nearly four years, Prakash Arunkundrum also named COO.

Logitech has announced that Charles Boynton will be joining the company as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) on February 6, 2023. The tech giant also shared that Prakash Arunkundrum has been named Chief Operating Officer (COO).

The new role will see Boynton as an executive for Logitech’s Group Management Team. The company stated that his responsibilities include financial strategies, worldwide finance organization, tax, treasury, accounting, financial planning and analysis functions.

The experienced executive will also drive communication with an international base of shareholders trading Logitech shares on the SIX Swiss Exchange and the Nasdaq Global Select Market. Boynton has prior experience of three years at Plantronics as CFO and over eight years in executive roles in the renewable energy industry at SunPower Corporation.

Arunkundrum was named Logitech’s COO on January 23, 2023. This new role will see Arunkundrum focus on the operational and organizational effectiveness of the company. His areas of responsibility span Logitech’s Operations, Sustainability, Strategy and M&A.

Logitech also noted that Nate Olmstead, Logitech’s CFO and member of Logitech’s Group Management Team, has resigned from his position. Olmstead currently intends to remain with Logitech through a transition period.
