Indie developer Massive Monster’s latest game, Cult of the Lamb, reached 1 million sales after the game’s official launch. It has been only a week since the game came out.
Cult of the Lamb could be described as a rogue-like dungeon crawler. The game is cute but also very chaotic. The player is resurrected by an imprisoned deity called The One Who Waits. The goal of the game is to set him free. To reach that goal, players are fighting against the ones who trapped their master.

During this quest, recruiting new followers and building a base for them is essential. Besides fighting against the enemy, the players must gather supplies ve tend to their worshippers. Eradicating the rival cults help players to get a more robust and prominent cult. The game has an adorable art style and many side quests to keep the players busy.
It hasn’t been long since Cult of the Lamb launched officially. The game developed by Massive Monster and published by Devolver Digital has been available on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch since August 11. The studio announced that the game topped 1 million sales in seven days, and the studio is pleased with the progress.
However, Cult of the Lamb still has some problems. Southampton-based studio acknowledged the bugs, ensured that the team had been working on improvements, and promised to share a content roadmap soon.
After the game hit 1 million sales in a week, Massive Monster shared a press release and thanked for the support.
