Gameloft announced an exciting development for themselves. The company stated that its Minion Rush games, which it first released 7 years ago, exceeded 1 billion downloads.

Based on the Despicable Me movie, Universal Pictures and Illumination’s conditional game is the first game to reach one billion downloads among mobile games inspired by movies like its own, according to the company’s announcement.
In the game released on June 10, 2013, players have collected 90 trillion bananas so far and have traveled 350 billion kilometers by running within the game. This distance equates to a total of 3.4 billion hours spent playing the game. The developer accidentally announced in April.
