Alex Vasilyev will now be in charge of Nefta’s data science and AI development initiatives, working to enhance AI use in user acquisition and ad monetization.

Interesting changes coming into the mobile industry, as Nefta, a company providing adtech platform for publishers and developers, appoints Alex Vasilyev, PhD, as head of Machine Learning. Alex will now be in charge of Nefta’s data science and AI development initiatives, working to enhance AI use in user acquisition and ad monetization.

Alex is a self described startup enthusiast, and found Nefta’s approach to their advertisement approach which heavily relies on user behavior insights. AI could be used to enhance data collection of user behavior in a way that would even more thoroughly locate potential advertisement opportunities.

Previously Alex already tackled issues of complex Machine Learning optimization, and has experience building robust models that capture intricate data relevant to sending relevant ads to relevant audiences, which is extremely synergetic with the kind of expertise that Nefta is currently seeking.

Geeshan Willink, Nefta CEO, comments: “Alex is an excellent addition to our growing team, his diverse background spanning creative AI and conversion prediction within the adtech landscape brings a unique perspective to our innovative approach to leveraging first-party data for advertising optimisation. This knowledge will be crucial in developing robust models to identify user segments likely to convert without traditional tracking methods.”

Alex commented on the situation, saying “I am looking forward to using my experience in leading complex end-to-end projects and my ability to develop creative solutions at Nefta as we continue to grow and disrupt the gaming advertising landscape for the better.”

Nefta is looking forward towards this new direction that it is taking in its pursuits to maximize user acquisition and targeted advertisement efficiency by implementing new technologies into their existing pipeline.
