It seems that Netflix’s activities in the mobile game market will not stop. This week, two more games have been added to the Netflix game service, a roguelike card battle called Arcanium: Rise of Akhan and a hidden object game called Krispee Street. If you’re already a Netflix subscriber, you can install both games on your iOS and Android devices.
Arcanium was originally released on Steam as early access in 2020 and has received positive ratings. Steam describes this game as an “open world, single-player strategy card adventure” and a combination of the roguelike genres.
Krispee Street is the fourth game that producer FrostyPop brought to the platform. It is possible to say that this game is a digital version of “Where’s Waldo”. Apart from these developments, it should be noted that the service does not make any updates on the game side.
With the release of two games, Netflix now has a dozen mobile games available to download and play for free as part of its subscription. These games are probably still not enough to entice a person to subscribe, but they do make it a tempting proposition, especially considering that these games are free of in-app purchases and ads. If you’re already paying for a Netflix subscription, what have you got to lose?
