Kabam announced on March 1, 2022, that the Netmarble North America operations team, Netmarble US, would join them. Netmarble operations in North America will now be run by Kabam.
Netmarble acquired Kabam in 2017. Therefore, the acquisition of the North American office of Kabam represents a collaboration for Netmarble’s in-house studios. The studio is known for the Marvel Future Fight, Marvel Future Revolution, and Lineage 2 Revolution games released in America.
Following the merger, former Netmarble USA president Simon Sim will join the Kabam team as the new Chief Operations Officer. Simon Sim has been active in the industry for 25 years and has a great deal of experience.
Kabam CEO Seungwon Lee said:

With this change, Netmarble also reshaped its North American operations. In the coming days, Netmarble will continue its operations under Kabam, drawing a new vision together.
