New Cycle gets a release date and a brand-new trailer

“A future beyond survival…”

New Cycle, the highly anticipated dieselpunk-inspired city-builder, will launch into Early Access on Steam on January 18th, 2024. Developed by Turkish studio Core Engage and published by Daedalic Entertainment, released a playable demo almost a year ago and received high praise.

The game is set in a post-apocalyptic world where a catastrophic solar flare has desolated the Earth. It is up to the player to lead the survivors into a new age and a stable new society, or “a future beyond survival,” as the game states.

The trailer shows a polished game when compared to the playable demo. The soundtrack is amazing and helps to improve the atmosphere of the game. In its review, GamesRadar+ made a bold statement, saying, “When you think of the Turkish games industry, Mount & Blade might not be the only game you think of.” which increased the hype surrounding the game.

New Cycle is not currently open for pre-order, but those who want to play the game can add it to their wishlist on Steam and wait for the release date.

Early Access will feature two different gameplay modes (campaign and sandbox), three different biomes, 54 buildings, 47 producible resources, three classes of society, eight different stages of development, and an inventory of 3D assets divided into three main eras and art style approaches.
