According to Crunchbase, Sceneri raised this funding back in February 2022, but the news surfaced just recently. Thanks for the heads up GamesIndustry.biz! Crunchbase’s data suggests the gaming startup was valued at $10.5 million pre-funding round.

The young company will use the funding to further develop its no-code game-making platform and also hire new talents from the look of it. Having said that, the company is only looking for a level designer to help boost the launch of its product at the time of writing.

Filip Lundgren, Founder and CTO of Sceneri said “By revisiting and reinventing established game development norms, we are creating a uniquely intuitive app for a new generation of creators,” and added, “We are drawing upon our collective experience of developing games, tools, and film to create a platform that scales by putting design and usability first.”

Sceneri’s main focus is on iOS devices at the moment. You can join their iOS early access beta through this link.

On top of being a no-code required game maker platform, Sceneri also wants to create a community where creators can explore and play each others’ games.
