Nuverse’s card game Marvel Snap surpasses 30M downloads

The title was launched this year on October 18 and managed to gather a massive player base.

The digital collectible card game developed by Second Dinner and published by Nuverse, Marvel Snap, amassed 30 million downloads in two and a half months. The team behind the title celebrated their achievement on the official Marvel Snap Twitter page.

Marvel Snap was launched in beta back on June 9, 2022, and had a full release on October 18. The title on PC, Android, and iOS managed to average 400,000 downloads daily and was chosen as Best Mobile Game of the Year at The Game Awards 2022.

Developer Second Dinner also shared a roadmap for 2023, identifying concepts, projects in development, and features that will be added to the game soon. The upcoming changes include Russian and Vietnamese language support, which will surely widen the player base for the game.

Future plans include a PC widescreen UI, smart decks, unranked mode, and new competitive game modes. The team is also pondering various concepts, including guilds, leaderboards, emotes and emojis, in-game events, and controller support for PC.
